i was legally blind till 7th grade..i could barely see the eyes or people ..blind people still are social and smile and can give and take in conversations.. so it isnt anything to do with seeing..nor hearing either..death people can be social also.. so.. training can help and certainly does... but none of the five senses are the cause...
